Chinese customs intercept gold smuggling at Beijing Daxing International Airport and Futian Port.

Chinese customs have recently intercepted gold smuggling cases at Beijing Daxing International Airport and Futian Port in Shenzhen, Guangdong province. Passengers attempting to smuggle gold into China must declare amounts over 50 grams, and smugglers will be held accountable. China removed the 65-year-old policy requiring approval for carrying gold and gold products across borders in 2014.
