Chicago White Sox re-signed Kevin Pillar, releasing Touki Toussaint for roster space.
The Chicago White Sox re-signed veteran outfielder Kevin Pillar to a major league contract, reuniting with the experienced 35-year-old just days after his initial release. In order to accommodate Pillar on their 40-man roster, right-hander Touki Toussaint was designated for assignment. Pillar will serve as depth in the outfield, behind regular starters Luis Robert Jr., Andrew Benintendi, and Dominic Fletcher.
