American golfer Peter Malnati won the Valspar Championship on Sunday, securing his first trip to the Masters and a two-year exemption on the PGA Tour. Malnati, ranked 184th in the world, birdied the 17th to break a tie with Cameron Young, who finished second. Malnati's victory was his second PGA Tour win, with the first one being at the Sanderson Farms Championship in 2015.
