60-year-old woman rescued from sinking car in Sydney's Dee Why Lagoon after crash; Probationary Constable Kiesha McJannet, with NSW Police for less than a year, entered the water to free the woman before the car sank. The woman was examined by paramedics and taken to Northern Beaches Hospital for observation, where she remains for recovery. Acting Inspector Adrian De Visser praised Constable McJannet's selfless actions. The submerged vehicle will be retrieved later on Sunday by salvage crews.
