A 46-year-old occupational therapist, Kannan Natchimuthu, who didn't get his first pair of runners until the age of 18, is set to take part in the London Marathon to raise funds for his maternity hospital, Cork University Maternity Hospital (CUMH). Natchimuthu will be joined by over 30 others from CUMH, Cork University Hospital (CUH), and the broader community, with funds raised going to improve facilities at the neo-natal intensive care unit and the ICU at CUH.
