Muay Thai association president, Datuk Mohd Fared Abdul Ghani, 56, pleaded not guilty in Kota Baru Magistrate's Court to charges of criminal intimidation and assault against a man, Mohd Alhafis Mohamed, 40. The accused allegedly threatened to kill Alhafis with a knife, intending to instill fear, and caused injury on Jan 6. He faces up to seven years in prison and a fine under Section 506 of the Penal Code and up to a year in prison or a fine under Section 323.
