77-year-old John K. Rounds has been charged with murdering his 77-year-old wife in Sun City, South Carolina. Deputies found Rounds with minor injuries and his wife dead in their home after responding to a 911 call in which Rounds claimed he and his wife had killed themselves. The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office determined that Rounds suffocated his wife before attempting to end his own life unsuccessfully. Rounds is currently being held in the Beaufort County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
