The US moon lander named Odysseus, developed by Houston-based Intuitive Machines, has failed to "wake up" after its historic first private lunar landing. The lander did not communicate when solar panels were expected to receive enough sunlight to turn on its radio. It had landed at an angle but completed tests before entering a weeks-long lunar night, where it was not designed to survive.
