Kuwaiti's Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Hospital's plastic surgery unit has been granted international academic accreditation from the American Association. The unit cooperated with other departments and introduced a reconstructive surgery unit to achieve this recognition. Supported by the Minister of Health, hospital management, and head of the medical staff, the unit has competed with international counterparts.
