5:11 am on March 24, a man in his 30s was declared dead at the scene after being hit by a car at Barking Road and Arragon Road junction in Newham. Metropolitan Police officers are investigating, having set up a crime scene and launched a probe. The car involved did not stop after the collision, and police are searching for it and its driver.
