Minister announces Green Ghana Day on June 7 for nationwide tree planting with 10 million trees, supported by Ghana Armed Forces.

Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Samuel Abu Jinapor, announced Green Ghana Day on June 7th, aiming to plant 10 million trees nationwide. The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) will host the commemorative tree planting event at the Burma Camp. The Ministry and Military have collaborated on initiatives, such as combating illegal mining and supporting the government's afforestation program.
