Dunes caught fire near the Mar Vista Grande resort in North Myrtle Beach on Saturday. Video footage showed flames burning across the dunes. North Myrtle Beach Fire Chief Billy Floyd reported that crews were called to put out the fire, and no further investigation was needed. The North Myrtle Beach Police Department was informed about fireworks in the area to continue monitoring.
