Decatur Police charged Vernon Brinkley with drug trafficking after purchasing meth from him.

Decatur Police charged Vernon Brinkley with drug trafficking after investigators purchased a trafficking amount of methamphetamine from him. The Vice/Narcotics Unit investigated Brinkley for distributing meth throughout Decatur. Brinkley was arrested and booked into the Morgan County Jail with a $100,000 bond. As he was already on parole for previous charges, he was additionally served with a parole violation and held without bond.
