Amazon India plans to increase seller fees across various categories from April 7, as a response to macroeconomic factors like inflation, interest rates, and operational costs. The updated fee structure includes adjustments in long-term storage fees, refund fees, and other categories such as home improvement, luxury beauty, and sleepwear. These changes are aimed at making Amazon (India) a top marketplace for selling in the country and to support the growth of small and medium businesses. The adjustments do not account for the 18% GST applicable to seller fees.
