Akasa Air CEO predicts India's aviation market growth and affordable fares will enable the airline to thrive, targeting top 30 global airlines by 2030.
Akasa Air CEO Vinay Dube claims India's aviation market has "incredibly affordable" airfares and immense growth potential, allowing the airline to thrive. Akasa Air, which began flying in August 2022, plans to be among the top 30 airlines globally by 2030 and will go public in the future. With a fleet of 24 planes and a 4.5% domestic market share, Dube believes there is room for multiple airlines to succeed in India's growing civil aviation market, which offers some of the cheapest airfares globally.
