32-year-old Raul Benitez Santana has been charged with two counts of vehicular homicide for hitting and killing Washington State Trooper Christopher Gadd on Interstate 5 in Marysville. Gadd was working a DUI patrol when the crash occurred. Benitez Santana reportedly had bloodshot eyes and admitted to drinking and smoking weed before driving. The suspect was driving at 107 mph at the time of the crash.
