26-year-old Mohammed Tanbir of Buffalo is facing felony charges for falsifying DMV documents related to heavily tinted windows on his vehicle. The charges come after an investigation found no evidence that Tanbir was distracted, intoxicated, or speeding during the fatal Elmwood Ave. accident that killed 21-year-old college student Sydney Lohr. Although the tinted windows did not contribute to the crash, Tanbir allegedly falsified a doctor's signature on forms submitted to the DMV for his window tints in 2020, 2021, and 2022.
