42-year-old John O'Shea, former Ireland footballer, temporarily manages Ireland's national team against Belgium in a friendly match.
Former Ireland footballer John O'Shea will not let emotions distract him as he manages the Republic of Ireland against Belgium in a friendly match. O'Shea, who won 118 senior caps for Ireland, has been placed in temporary charge of the national team before the Football Association of Ireland announces Stephen Kenny's successor in early April. The 42-year-old, who enjoyed a trophy-laden 12-year spell at Manchester United, will focus solely on the 90 minutes against Belgium.
