Former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman, Shaharyar Khan, aged 89, passed away in Lahore. Serving two terms as PCB chairman from 2003-2006 and 2014-2017, Khan also managed the Pakistan cricket team during their tour of India in 1999 and at the ICC World Cup 2003. The PCB expressed deep condolences and remembered him as a vital figure in bringing cricket back to Pakistan during the last decade. Current PCB Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, also praised Khan's dedication and service to Pakistan cricket.
