20-year-old former student Gareth Leblanc was arrested for terrorizing after posting a bomb threat on social media, causing an evacuation at Dutchtown High School. The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office found no bomb during a thorough search of the campus and determined the threat to be not credible. Leblanc, who graduated from the school in 2023, was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail.
