60-year-old Dhaka University Social Science faculty dean Prof. Zia Rahman, founder chair of the Department of Criminology, passed away from brain hemorrhage.
Dhaka University's Social Science faculty dean, Professor Zia Rahman, passed away at 4:15am on March 23 due to brain hemorrhage while undergoing treatment at Labaid Hospital in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The 60-year-old was also the founder chair of the Department of Criminology. His janaza (funeral prayers) will be held at the Central Mosque of Dhaka University after Zuhr prayers.
