Worldcoin plans to implement personal data self-hosting for users via "Personal Custody," following legal issues surrounding the storage of biometric data. Users will now save their information, including images and metadata, on their own devices instead of in Worldcoin Foundation's database. The company's Orb software has been open-sourced and made available on GitHub, allowing public access and examination of image processing and data privacy claims.
