7 suspected railway track vandals arrested in Riyom LGA, Plateau State, Nigeria.
Nigeria's Plateau State Command of the Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) arrested seven suspected railway track vandals in the Riyom Local Government Area. The arrests were made after receiving an intelligence report from community members. The suspects were found with 60 railway tracks, 30 slippers, and other materials. The suspects will face legal action once investigations are completed. The arrest comes as the Plateau State government plans to restart rail mass transit in Jos and Bukuru metropolises.
