Study in Clinical Psychology Review finds meditation/yoga more effective than venting in managing anger.
A recent study published in Clinical Psychology Review found that instead of venting, arousal-decreasing activities like meditation or yoga are more effective in helping people manage anger. Researchers analyzed 154 studies involving over 10,000 participants and concluded that these activities were better at calming individuals down compared to arousal-increasing activities such as venting or running.
