328 stranded individuals in Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh were airlifted by the Indian Air Force (IAF) on Saturday due to heavy snowfall, reports an official. This brings the total number of people airlifted under the 'Kargil courier' service, in coordination with civil administration, to 3,442 since its launch on January 22. The 434-km Srinagar-Leh National Highway has been closed due to the snowfall.
