St. Paul detectives are investigating the death of a man found unconscious on a sidewalk early Saturday morning, potentially assaulted in an altercation with others before officers arrived. The man was taken to Regions Hospital, where he died after officers performed CPR. The Ramsey County Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death and anyone with information is asked to call 651-266-5650.
