Leonid McKay, currently heading Malta's cannabis regulatory authority, will take over as CEO of JobsPlus, replacing Alexia Vella. McKay's appointment follows a government reshuffle in response to the Jean Paul Sofia inquiry, which criticized JobsPlus's handling of foreign work permits. The new appointment aims to improve coordination between JobsPlus and Identity Malta, the agency responsible for residence permits.
