Knowsley Safari Park in the UK introduces a new 'Bear Country' exhibit featuring two Andean bears, Bahia and Chui, to celebrate Easter and support a conservation campaign in partnership with the Peru-based Spectacled Bear Conservation Society. Andean bears, native to South America, are twice as endangered as giant pandas and face habitat loss and human-wildlife conflict. Knowsley Safari aims to raise awareness and provide educational materials for conservation efforts.
