Joana Vicente, CEO of Sundance Institute, the organization behind the annual Sundance Film Festival, is stepping down after two and a half years. Amanda Kelso, a board member, has been appointed as acting CEO, and will transition into the role in April, with Vicente continuing to advise through June. Vicente has overseen the Institute's most challenging years during the pandemic, when the festival transitioned to virtual and later became a hybrid format.
