A fatal head-on collision on the M62 motorway in West Yorkshire involved a Vauxhall Corsa driving in the wrong direction, resulting in the death of one man and serious injuries to another, who was driving a VW Golf. The incident occurred near Scammonden Bridge, causing significant travel disruption and closure of both carriageways of the M62 between junctions 22 and 24 overnight. West Yorkshire Police are investigating the crash and seeking witnesses or footage of the accident or the grey Vauxhall Corsa prior to it.
