A chemical warehouse fire in Dhaka's Chawkbazar area was brought under control after eight firefighting units worked for over two hours. The blaze started at 3:30am and initially took control at 6:00am. The cause of the fire remains unknown, and a probe committee will be formed to investigate. In 2019, a similar fire in the same area resulted in 67 deaths and 41 injuries.
