7 individuals were arrested in Limerick during a police operation targeting drug sales and related criminal activities. The operation, involving 80 local police officers, executed seven search warrants in the St. Mary's Park and Kings Island areas, leading to the seizure of a suspected pipe bomb, drugs, cash, and watches. A man was detained in connection with the pipe bomb, while six others were arrested for suspected theft, robbery, and drug driving. One individual appeared in court, while others were released. The drugs seized will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
