Newcastle's Great Southern Nights featured a 38-act, city-wide live music event from 8 March to 23 March. The street party in Steel Street included headliners Trophy Eyes, as well as acts like Hoodoo Gurus, Dan Sultan, Bob Evans, Peter Garrett & The Alter Egos, Cub Sport, The Presets, Drapht, and Ruby Fields. The event, initially launched in November 2020, aimed to breathe life back into live music after pandemic restrictions.
