Shannon Grant, a 28-year-old man, was sentenced to life with a minimum of 34 years in prison for torturing and murdering Natasha Morais in her Whetstone home. Grant was traced to a flat in Coventry and found with a sawn-off shotgun, a crowbar with Miss Morais' blood, her watch, and her bank card. He denied the charges, claiming an armed gang killed her, but was found guilty by a jury at Leicester Crown Court.
