69-year-old horse whisperer, Christine Rawle, was jailed for life for the murder of her husband, 72-year-old Ian Rawle, after stabbing him in the back with a knife. The couple, living separately but repeatedly bickering, were compared to Roald Dahl characters The Twits. Rawle, who denied murder and claimed self-defense, was found guilty at Exeter Crown Court. She will serve a minimum of 17 years in prison.
