1-year-old boy killed by car in Texarkana parking lot; toddler snuck out of apartment, police say. A 1-year-old boy was fatally struck by a car at an apartment complex in Texarkana, Texas. The child allegedly snuck out of his apartment unit and was playing in the parking lot when the driver of the vehicle hit him. The driver, who did not see the child, called 911, and the boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
