Upmarket supermarket chain Waitrose is considering closing its Enfield warehouse in North London later this year, which could put 545 jobs in danger. The warehouse, only opened in 2020, is used to pick and deliver online orders for customers in some parts of North London. Waitrose is planning to move the orders from the Enfield site to two other sites and is currently in talks with employees about the proposed closure.
