TotalEnergies restarts production at Denmark's Tyra gas field after redevelopment, enabling Denmark's self-sufficiency and net gas exports to Europe.
TotalEnergies has restarted production at Denmark's Tyra natural gas field in the Danish North Sea after a major redevelopment project. The Tyra hub is expected to produce 5.7 million cubic meters of gas and 22,000 barrels of condensate per day once it reaches full capacity. The redevelopment involved the installation of eight new platform topsides, two jackets, and six bridges. TotalEnergies operates the Tyra field on behalf of the Danish Underground Consortium, which includes BlueNord (36.8%), TotalEnergies (43.2%), and Nordsøfonden (20%). The new Tyra facilities will enable Denmark to become self-sufficient and a net exporter of natural gas to Europe.
