Toronto approves Rogers to install 5G cameras and sensors at downtown intersections for traffic congestion monitoring.

The City of Toronto has approved Rogers Communications to set up 5G cameras and sensors at five downtown intersections to monitor and alleviate traffic congestion. The 5G-driven AI system will capture real-time data about traffic volumes, speeds, and congestion levels as part of the city's congestion management plan. Rogers will install the devices along University Avenue at Adelaide, King, Wellington, and Front streets, as well as York Street and Bremner Boulevard.
