16th-century 'vampire' woman discovered with brick in mouth in mass grave, recreated by forensic expert. Brazilian forensic expert Cicero Moraes recreated the face of a female found in a mass grave on Venetian island Lazzaretto Nuovo, during an archaeological dig in 2006. The woman is believed to have been buried with a brick in her mouth to stop her from eating the dead during a plague outbreak in 1576.
