Sweden has awarded contracts to Saab and GKN Aerospace to conduct conceptual studies for future fighter systems. The two-year contracts, set to run from 2024 to 2025, will explore both crewed and uncrewed fighter concepts, technology development, and demonstrations. The collaboration includes cooperation with the Swedish Armed Forces, the Swedish Defence Research Agency, and other industry partners.
