Rise Memorial Foundation established for Kelowna crane collapse victims' memorial, aiming to start construction in May 2024.

A non-profit group, Rise Memorial Foundation, has been established to manage the construction of a memorial dedicated to the victims of the Kelowna crane collapse. The foundation, involving family members of the victims and key community partners, has collected $191,000 in donations and aims to start construction in late May 2024. The memorial will be built at Knowles Heritage Park in downtown Kelowna.
