Reno Fire Department appoints John Beck, former firefighter and Navy SEAL, as new Fire Marshal.
Reno Fire Department selects John Beck as new Fire Marshal; Beck has served in various roles, including firefighter, fire investigator, and supervisor of the fire plan review team. Beck began his career with Reno Fire in 2007 and also served as a SEAL in the US Navy for 23 years. Reno Fire Chief, Dave Cochran, praised Beck's dedication and believes he will take the fire prevention division to the next level.
