1 person died in a house fire in Barren Lands First Nation, Manitoba. Authorities were called at 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday and three people were reported inside the home. Firefighters located a deceased male at 3:30 a.m., and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Thompson Rural RCMP, RCMP Forensic Identification Services, and the Office of the Fire Commissioner are all involved in the ongoing investigation.
