Ofcom mandates UK mobile providers to notify customers of roaming costs, caps, and limits from 1st October 2024.
Ofcom confirms new rules requiring UK mobile providers, including Three, Vodafone, Sky Mobile and Voxi, to notify customers when they start using their phones abroad from 1st October 2024. Network providers must give clear information on roaming costs, spending caps, and "fair use" limits. This aims to protect customers from unexpected roaming charges when traveling, as many mobile operators have reintroduced roaming fees since Brexit.
