6.6 million unstamped cigarettes worth $3.3 million were seized by Saskatchewan Highway Patrol and RCMP near Indian Head. The semi-truck driver and passenger, both from Ontario, were arrested and charged under the Excise Act and Tobacco Tax Act. The cigarettes and truck were seized, and the driver will appear in court in June. The passenger also faces charges for breaching a Conditional Sentence Order.
