Former world number four Kei Nishikori's comeback to the ATP Tour after a long injury break ended in a first-round 6-3, 6-4 loss to Sebastian Ofner at the Miami Open. In women's action, Anhelina Kalinina came back from match point down to defeat Caroline Wozniacki 5-7, 7-5, 6-4 at the Miami Open. Wozniacki, a former world number one, had recently returned to tennis after retiring in 2020 to have two children.
