Mets' pitcher Kodai Senga cleared for baseball activity after shoulder inflammation subsides.
Mets' Kodai Senga, who was diagnosed with a capsule strain in his right shoulder, has been cleared for baseball activity following an MRI test. Manager Carlos Mendoza announced that Senga's inflammation is gone, and he could begin throwing within the next week if he regains strength in his shoulder. Senga, who is entering the second year of a $75 million, five-year contract, had a stellar rookie season in 2022.
