A Metropolitan Police officer in London faces criminal charges for allegedly stealing £171 from the corpse of Italian filmmaker Claudio Gaetani, who died from a heart attack in September. Gaetani's body was left unattended for six hours, and body-worn footage reportedly shows an officer counting the money. The Met's Anti-Corruption and Abuse Command has passed evidence to the Crown Prosecution Service for a charging decision.
