Major US airlines plan to meet with Boeing's board of directors to discuss concerns over quality-control issues in the manufacturing of planes, particularly the 737 Max jetliner. Boeing's CEO, Dave Calhoun, will not attend the meetings, which are set to begin next week, as Larry Kellner, the chairman of Boeing's board, leads the sessions.
